Healing begins here

Maybe you've landed here because things feel overwhelming. Hospital waiting rooms, the scans, the treatments, or the quiet after it all can leave your mind racing, your body tense, and your sense of self shaken. You might feel anxious, exhausted, lost, or simply stretched too thin. You're looking for something steady, something that can help you feel like you again — even just for a moment.

“Life only unfolds in moments. The healing power of mindfulness lies in living each of those moments as fully as we can, accepting it as it is as we open to what comes next—in the next moment of now.”
— Jon Kabat-Zinn, Full Catastrophe Living

Healing Through Meditation

Healing is not the same as curing. In healing, we can find a deep and often quiet transformation — a shift in how we relate to ourselves and the life we're living in this moment. Meditation gently reveals what illness and fear can obscure — a steady presence within us that can endure even in times of pain and uncertainty.

Through mindfulness and meditation, we are invited to witness our pain and diagnosis and rediscover an inner presence that lives beneath it all — often veiled by fear, tension, and the sheer act of getting through. This meeting with ourselves is not something we force. It unfolds gently in the stillness of practice — breath by breath, moment by moment.

And in that stillness, something profound can happen: we begin to re-inhabit our lives. We reconnect to a sense of meaning, to steadier ground, to a quiet knowing that we are not broken.

Healing, in this sense, is a kind of homecoming — not to the person we were before illness, but to the person we are now, with more tenderness, more clarity, and more resilience than we could have imagined.

Mindfulness Meditation Courses

Mindfulness meditation has been a vital support on my own cancer journey—and it's a privilege to share these practices with others navigating life during and after treatment.

I teach to support people facing the challenges of illness, recovery, and everything in between.

Currently, I lead sessions through Macmillan Cancer Support, creating safe, compassionate spaces for learning and reflection. I plan to widen access to my teaching and courses through other charities and community groups over the next few months.

You'll soon be able to access free meditations on my YouTube channel and here on my website.
